✻ All related pokemon are related characters. The first member to take a character from that family gets to choose the family name. For example, the Eevees all share the last name "White".
✻ Speaking of Eevees, because there are so many, the first generation Eevees are the cousins of the second and fourth generation Eevees. They all still share the last name.
